Simple Home-Made Pizza Recipe

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME! WELCOME TO ANOTHER RECIPE WALK THROUGH AT EMIDIV KITCHEN, WHERE COOKING IS MADE SIMPLE.
Preparation time: 1 hour, 30 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Size: 15 inches tray x 4 quantities of pizzas!
To make pizza, one ingredient is very important, and that, you don’t want to leave out, otherwise, the pizza would no longer be a pizza but another kind of recipe, and the ingredient we referring to here is Yeast. Always make sure to check the expiration date of your yeast to make ascertain it’s still active. Expired yeast would not work, the dough would not form or rise because the yeast is dead.
To check whether your yeast is active or alive, you can do so by simply combining the yeast, little sugar and water and let it stay for about five minutes. In those five minutes, you should notice bubbles or rise of the combination like a foam, if you observe this, it means your yeast is active and is happily feasting on the sugar.
Always store your yeast in a freezer or fridge and in an airtight container because even when it’s not expired, exposure to the wrong condition may kill the yeast and render it inactive.

Towel
Bake trays
Plastic wraps or clean kitchen towel
PROCEDURE
STEP 1* Activating the Yeast
Just as we have typically explained above, it’s time to activate our yeast. Combine the 2 teaspoons of yeast and 1 cup of sugar into a bowl and add ¾ of 1-liter water, mix combination, cover, and set aside. If the weather is very cold say wintertime, cover, and put in an airtight environment such as the microwave or the oven. In warm weather, the yeast would be ready in 5 minutes, and in cold weather, please activate with warm water, not hot water and allow to sit for about 10 minutes, yeast requires a warm environment to activate in the presence of water and sugar, cold weather slows down the process.
Step 2* Missing and Kneading of the Pizza Dough
Once the yeast is activated, the next thing is to start mixing the dough.
Now into a mixing bowl, pour in the sifted flour, the olive oil, 1 level teaspoon of salt, and start mixing using your already activated yeast and sugar solution. Add bit by bit as you mix. If you are using a mixer, set it to low speed at the beginning for about 10 to 12 minutes, however, the remaining process would still be completed with hand.
Add the remaining ¼ of 1-liter water. At this point, you would notice a sticky consistency, that is very okay, all you need do is sprinkle some flour onto the dough and continue kneading until it no longer sticks and not too thick.
Now coat a thin layer of the olive oil on/and round the dough to prevent it from sticking to the bowl.
Now cover the bowl containing the dough, can also transfer to a larger bowl because it would rise.
Depending on how fast you want your pizza, you can let it sit for 1 hour to 2 hours, the longer it stays to ferment, the better consistency for pizza recipe, we should also remember that weather condition may affect the rate at which the dough ferment or rises, which may be much slower in the winter season.
Now cover with plastic wrap or simply cover with a nice and clean kitchen towel.
The dough rises faster in warm weather, so keep checking and once risen, you can punch down twice before finally complete the pizza process.
STEP 3* Making the Pizza Sauce
This process is very simple and very fast as well.
Now add a ½ cup of oil to a pan, let it heat for about 2 minutes, add your diced onion, sprinkle some oregano, parsley flakes, and oregano, then mix for about 2 minutes.
Now add the crushed and paste tomato, 1 teaspoon of crushed pepper, and chicken flavor. Mix and let it cook for a maximum of 5 minutes. Remember, it’s still going to the oven.
STEP 4* Completing the whole process
Once it’s 40 minutes and above, our pizza is all set to be cooked. This recipe stayed in warm weather for about 2 hours.
*Smelt your baking tray with oil and spring some flour onto it to prevent the pizza from sticking, not all trays stick though. Set your baking tray aside. If you have a pizza stone for cooking, that is awesome, use it.
*Punch down the risen dough.
*Now share the dough, into the quantity you want to make out of it.
*Pick one at a time and start rolling flat.
Our home-made recipe is oven cooked.
Once dough properly rolled, now start adding the toppings, start with the sauce, followed by the cheese, the hard salami, pepperoni, and so on. Please do not add too many toppings especially excessive cheese can melt off the pizza into the oven.
Add part of the olives, It’s better to have your black olives fresh, wrinkles out in the oven. The remaining part you would add later.
Step 5* Now Cooking Proper, and Straight to the Oven.
Preparing the Pizzas
Preheat oven, the oven used for this recipe preheats 10 minutes at standard 350°C. Remember, we stated at the beginning that cooking time is 30 minutes and so with preheating time, it’s 40 minutes in total, this means you would add 30 minutes to your preheating time.
And that’s it. You made it!
